Gypsum products are thoroughly spatulated under 26-29 inches of vacuum for the ultimate in smoothness and the elimination of all possible air voids. This is the easiest-to-use machine of its type available to the private practice or commercial laboratory. Wehmer Vacuum Spatulators are delivered with the following standard features designed to make your life easier:

• Precision vane-type vacuum pump is tremendously reliable and easy to service.
• Vacuum and spatula drive are engaged and disengaged from the bowl simultaneously, in one quick easy motion while the machine is running.
• Oiler/ filter jar provides continuous lubrication to the pump.
• Two stage bronze muffler/exhaust jar captures excess lubricant preventing splatter on walls and keeping the machine pleasantly quiet.
• Teflon coated agitator paddle for easy clean-up.
• 800cc and 300cc bowls are flexible plastic for easy removal of dried plaster, and are inexpensive to replace.
• Bowl lids disassemble easily for cleaning.

In order to better meet the needs of our commercial laboratory customers and high volume practices, PRO-TRIM model trimmers offer a number of standard features which make these machines more effective and efficient than any other line of trimmers we know.

Both single and dual wheel PRO-TRIM models are fitted with heavy duty 3/4 HP motors- delivering 50% more horsepower than our standard Wehmer trimmers. Then...we added our new Wehmer Diamond Trimmer Wheel to replace the standard silicon-carbide coarse wheel, resulting in a 40% faster cutting rate and a smoother finish on plaster, stone, epoxy and acrylic models. All this while lasting 20 (or more) times longer than standard resinoid wheels. The entire cast aluminum trimmer housing is covered with a gloss white powdercoat finish - inside and out - to provide maximum protection and easy cleaning. An electric solenoid water control valve is standard equipment. It all adds up to one aggressive cutting machine that's tough and good looking, and that will allow professional laboratory technicians to maximize their time and abilities.
